Charging Infrastructure for vehicles

Sustainable charging infrastructure is the key factor that will enhance the adoption trends of Electric vehicles in India.

Electric vehicle powered by multiple battery packs that have limited charge to run a vehicle. Thats why, it is important to have an adequate charging infrastructure in multiple places. The charging requirements of vehicle are not only depends on the kind of vehicle but also on usability of vehicles.

Government of India has set a target to electrify 70% of all commercial vehicles, 30% of private cars, 40% of buses, and 80% of two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales by 2030. This could be possible with simultaneous building electric infrastructure for EVs.

Moreover, to boost this target government has focused on FAME1 And FAME2 with charging infrastructure. Although India is trying hard to build infrastructure for EVs but it is still far behind the required pace.

It is clear that Charging infrastructure is backbone of EVs in India but for now this is seems the only reason for slow growth of EV sector in India due to less and non-accessible charging stations.
